01 / Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Salah Momin ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Salah Momin.

02 / License & Usage

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App on Apple-branded products that you own or control. You may not:

  • Modify, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer the App.
  • Rent, lease, loan, resell, or distribute the App to any third party.
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

03 / App Shielding & System Integration

The core functionality of Salah Momin depends on your authorization of Apple's FamilyControls and ManagedSettings frameworks. By using the App, you explicitly authorize Salah Momin to apply shields and restrictions to other applications on your device during prayer windows.

Strict Lock Mode

If you enable "Strict Lock Mode," the App will utilize system-level restrictions to prevent App uninstallation and new App installation during active prayer windows. You acknowledge that this is a voluntary restriction you have requested.

04 / User Responsibility & Emergency Access

You are solely responsible for the configuration of the App, including the selection of apps to be shielded.

Emergency Unlock

The App provides an "Emergency Unlock" feature as a fail-safe. However, this feature has defined limits to maintain the App's focus-based purpose. You acknowledge that in an emergency, your access to certain apps may be delayed or restricted by the App's settings. Do not use Salah Momin to shield apps that are critical for life-safety or emergency communications.

05 / Prayer time Calculation & Notifications

Prayer times are calculated locally using astronomical algorithms (adhan-swift). While we strive for maximum precision, these times are for informational purposes only.

Factors such as GPS accuracy, atmospheric conditions, and regional calculation methods may cause variations. Salah Momin is a supplementary tool and should not be your sole method for determining obligatory prayer times. Always verify with your local community or authority.

06 / Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salah Momin and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Missed communications (calls, messages, alerts) during active lock windows.
  • Failure of the App to lock or unlock apps due to iOS system updates or hardware failure.
  • Inaccuracy in prayer time calculations or notification delivery timing.
  • Any loss of data resulting from iCloud sync errors or local storage corruption.

Salah Momin is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

07 / Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
